Absolutely loved, loved, loved my experience here. The service was above and beyond, I have long thick hair and a complicated approach to going just light enough while maintaining an overall dark hair. I LOVED my all over blonde balayage. I have super long hair too and this place never made me feel insecure or uncomfortable about my hair - and I can’t say that about other places. They use great high quality products which is super important to me. The owners touch to the small things made this salon standout from the many I’ve been to in Calgary and Vancouver. The space is welcoming and relaxing, I usually have very long appointments and it’s a fun space to be. Being able to order a glass of wine was great. The aesthetic inside is great for photos too. I’ll be doing the drive from calgary to come back

I chose Salon Olivine for my wife's hair styling just before our easter weekend getaway. Based on all the reviews, I thought it's the go-to place for a special treat for my wife. I chose a stylist with great reviews as well. So go ahead and take this review with a grain of salt. My wife was SO disappointed with her experience there and here's why. As soon as she sat in the chair, the stylist tells her "You have a lot of hair". What is that even supposed to mean? The stylist then proceeded to "do her best" to style my wife's head full of hair and barely did a half-ass job. Now, for context, I straighten my wife's hair at home. If I can do it with no training or years of experience, so should a stylist at a renowned salon. My wife didn't appreciate the sentiment that she's a challenge since she didn't even ask for a complicated style. Just asked for some wavy curls (which didn't even last beyond the evening) and the first 2-4 inches of her hair where not even straightened. What added insult to injury is the fact that everything I've said above was already relayed to the salon on a phone call expressing our disappointment in the whole experience. I even said, I'd rather not post any negative reviews if we can just speak with a manager about this experience. Unfortunately, as of the date of this review, neither my wife nor I received any further communication from the salon. Not even an apology.

I wish I could give more than five stars! The atmosphere was super welcoming and relaxing. Kaytlin is an absolute professional & so friendly. I got the most thorough blended blonde refresh ever. She looked at the reference picture I brought and discussed how she could bring my vision to life, and the result were even better than I imagined. I’m thrilled to have found my new favourite salon & stylist!

We went to Salon Olivine for my wedding hairstyling, and everything was great! Madison did my hair and my sister’s, and Jessica and Gracie took care of the other bridesmaids & my mom. I was able to squeeze in an appointment with Kayla to put on my false lashes (she was very meticulous and they looked perfect) after my makeup artist cancelled on me last-minute, and she also did the eye makeup for one of my bridesmaids. For my hair, I had a ton of clip-in extensions, and everybody warned me that they would give me a terrible headache, but they didn’t at all the day-of, or for my trial. Madison said it was because they were good quality ones, but I think she definitely deserves some of the credit! She did a great job. She also accommodated by requests, straight-out of 2007, even though they were not particularly on-trend lol. I loved the results! My veil also stayed put perfectly, and came out easily without wrecking the style at all. The salon itself is beautiful, of course! And the hairspray smelled great. I had the most AMAZING time at Salon Olivine on my wedding day!! My wedding party and I couldn’t rave enough about the beautiful space. Madi was kind enough to open the salon on a stat holiday for us and we all felt so welcome and comfortable. We made memories to last a life time ❤️ Thank you Salon Olivine!

Salon Olivine & Madison helped me fall in love with my hair again. The salon itself is beautifully constructed, accessible, inviting and warm. I am always greeted by a smiling team member who offers to take my coat and grab a beverage for me. My hair service starts with a choice of three aromatherapy scents and a quick scalp massage that completely changes my frame of mind (I’m usually flying in directly from work). I have a lot of hair, it’s long and it takes extra time to do anything with it, washing, drying and styling at home for me can easily take an hour and a half if I stay focused so my default for years was to throw it in a ponytail or bun. I’ve been seeing Madison for two years now and over that time not only has she expertly cared for me each and every visit, but she has also taught me how to care for my hair at at home. She has showed me how to properly use products and set me up with the right tools to get the job done between visits. I’ve been able to noticeably reduce the amount of time it takes me to work with my hair and have better results, it’s healthier, stronger, shinier and I love it again. I can’t express enough gratitude for the safe space the Salon provides, the exceptional work you do and a place to genuinely relax and feel so pampered. Thank you

After spending two days searching for a good hair salon in Lethbridge, I’m so happy I found Olivine Salon and Spa! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Jessica, my stylist, was amazing. I’m pretty picky about my hair, and I wanted to keep my natural color while doing a color treatment and taking care of some split ends. With long hair, it can be tricky to just trim the ends without losing length, but Jessica had a fantastic technique that worked perfectly. I left the salon with my long hair still intact but looking so much better! It’s super soft, shiny, and absolutely beautiful now. Another great thing about Olivine is the quality of their products. They use exclusive products that are not only effective but also environmentally friendly. That’s really important to me! The ingredients are safe, and they smell amazing too. The salon itself has a clean and bright ambiance, which made the whole experience even better. Everyone there, from the receptionist to the other stylists, was professional, friendly, and seemed to really care about each other and the clients. I can’t say enough good things about Jessica. She’s not only skilled at what she does, but she’s also incredibly kind. She knows when to chat and when to focus on getting the job done, which made me feel really comfortable. Overall, I left feeling completely satisfied with my visit and love the way my hair turned out. I definitely plan to see Jessica again! If you're looking for a great salon experience, I highly recommend giving Olivine a try—you won’t regret it!

Salon Olivine is absolutely beautiful! The staff are talented and work as a true cohesive team which makes me feel like a very special guest. The additional services, music and beverages are so appreciated in a most bright fresh environment. I recently needed a little tweak to my style and my request was received with open arms and no judgement. A special shout out to Aubrey!
